 Thanks for the comments over the last month, people. All much appreciated. Things are quieter here now, everything is being sorted out, I have work and some cash again, and I'm exercising and starting to write again. This journal will continue to be the first port of call for my fanfiction, but I'm trying to develop my unused journal communi_kate  for original fiction and ranting.

And on the subject of fiction, does anyone have any thoughts about the new amazon kindle? I'm planning to do a lot of travelling in the next year or so and one might come in handy. I read a lot, mostly nonfiction , SF and fantasy, and would be interested in hearing from anyone with experience of the kindle and more specifically, its library options.
