I'm working my way through her fantasy, but so far, I prefer the space opera. I think I'd have a little more time for The Sharing Knife if it wasn't a romance, and more specifically, a May-December romance. Where are all the books about older women and hawt young guys*? I'd like to have something to fantasize about when I'm old and wrinkly and have chin hairs and millions of cats. *My fave older woman book is Elizabeth Moon's Remnant Population, but it's more old woman/alien planet than anything else.
The Sharing Knife was a little self-indulgent, but I liked it just because I got to see a new culture every book. (Plus, I dearly wanna try a plunkin now, they sound hilarious.) :D Um, tried the Chalion series yet? I think it's only three books, and it's like Renaissance era politicing plus a 5 god religion.
