Heh.
I actually liked the motivation in AC4. It's money-pure and simple-just like in real life. The thing with Kenway is that got what he wanted at the start of the game half way through, and he got what he actually needed closer to the end.

True. I mean, yay for wanting utopia dude, but they don't tend to work out, ESP. when based on violence. The end bit where his daughter kept her wife's name and was like 'I ain't helping you' to the dude who gets it wrong was pretty neat imo. It's a hell of a stand to make in that time period, and it shows he's really all about social connections.
